- Manage the commercial management of large and complex defence programs under one or multiple business lines
- Manage day-to-day commercial activities for large, complex Federal Government programs
- Provide expert commercial and contractual advice across prime contracts and subcontracts
- Develop and maintain contracting positions aligned with contract terms
- Create and implement contracting strategies to mitigate risk, improve cash flow and enhance program profitability
- Identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues
- Lead or support negotiations and proposal development for new scope or contract changes
- Contribute to broader commercial and procurement initiatives within the organisation
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing commercial aspects of large Government contracts
- Experience establishing, managing and implementing contract changes within multidisciplinary environments
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse and complex stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across commercial activities
- Australian Citizen
- Current Baseline security clearance
- Willingness and ability to uplift to a TSPV security clearance
- May need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements
- Dual nationality, permanent residency or former nationality of certain countries may be subject to ITAR limitations
