nTasks & Dutiesn
nManaging technical rope access projects to enable project execution in relation to IRATA Standards as well as Australian WHS.n
n
nLead teams effectively to develop objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the productive use of organizations’ resources at project and client engagement levels.n
n
nIdentify, provide knowledge and creative inputs into business improvements and to implement measures to improve service deliver and client engagement during projects and day to day client engagements.n
n
nProvide technical and professional leadership and support for internal projects across multiple time zones and variety of cultures.n
n
nApply project management principles and procedures in daily operations, physical control as well as administrative control via Daily Reports & Time Sheets and other documentation submitted by Team Leaders in support of project objectives and milestones.n
n
nManaging staff, monitoring project requirements in relation to suppliers and logistics, discussing current systems with staff and observing systems at all levels of organization.n
n
nApply hands on management and supervision for rope access projects and any potential rescue scenarios for each project; ability to understand and implement the content of safety and methodology statements including thorough knowledge of hazards identification and risk assessment and methods of site management.n
n
nProvide effective leadership through communication at all levels and with internal and external stakeholders, including rope access teams,



rope access safety requirements / methodology as required for individual project specification and manage / oversee day to day running of the operations.n
n
nQualifications and Education Requirementsn
nTertiary or vocational qualifications preferred but not mandatoryn
n1-2 years experience in Projects & Operations Manager or similar rolen
n
nPreferred Skills:n
nExtensive experience and competence to supervise rope access projects and any potential rescue scenarios for each project; ability to understand and implement the content of safety and methodology statements including thorough knowledge of hazards identification and risk assessment and methods of site management.n
n
nWide experience in managing technical rope access projects to enable project execution in relation to IRATA Standards as well as Australian WHS.n
n
nExtensive team building, motivation, and leadership skills in accordance with AA people values in order to develop objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the efficient use of organizations’ resources.n
n
nAbility to identify and implement business improvements as well as discussing business and organizational shortcomings with clients.n
n




nExtensive project management, daily operations, physical control as well as administrative control via Daily Reports & Time Sheets and other documentation submitted by Team Leaders and summarized be admin staff.n
n
nAbility to communicate at all levels including rope access teams, rope access safety requirements / methodology as required for individual project specification and manage / oversee day to day running of the operations.n
n
nAdditional Requirements:n
nIRATA L3 Certification (Mandatory)n
nWhite Card (Mandatory)n
nFirst Aid Certificate (Mandatory)n
nConfined Space & Rescue incl. BA (Mandatory)n
nOther optional Certifications such as:n
nRigging Advanced / Scaffolding Advancedn
nTrade Qualificationsn
nPlant & Machinery e.g. EWP etcn
