Epiroc are currently seeking a trade qualified Drill Fitter to join our service team in Perth, who are seeking a career development opportunity within a global organisation.
Responsibilities
- Creating and developing robust relationships with team members.
- Carrying out machine pre delivery and customer specific installations on Epiroc's range of surface and underground mining equipment.
- Carrying out service and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and RCS systems with attention to detail and high focus on quality assurance and quality control.
- Ability to solve equipment-related issues include diagnostic fault finding.
- Self-driven and motivated to deliver exceptional service while fostering strong teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
- Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements.
- Committed to continuously improving existing work standards and practices.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Fixed Plant, Auto Electrical or hydraulic trade qualifications or similar.
- Experience in the maintenance of surface and underground mobile mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics, and low-voltage electrical repairs.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, Diagnose and Fault Find complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
- Experience with Epiroc surface and underground products will be highly regarded.
