I am currently hiring for a large regional public hospital in Western Australia offering an exceptional opportunity for a Paediatric Registrar to join a well-established and highly respected paediatric department.

This is an ideal role for a registrar looking to consolidate clinical experience, build procedural confidence, and work closely with senior specialists in a collaborative, teaching-focused environment.
The Hospital & Department n
This is a major regional referral hospital servicing a large and diverse catchment area across regional WA.
n
The Paediatric Department includes:
n
• Consultant Paediatricians with broad subspecialty interests
n • A dedicated paediatric ward
n • Special Care Nursery support
n • Active involvement in outreach and regional health services
n • Strong multidisciplinary collaboration
n • Excellent exposure to acute and complex presentations
n
You will gain valuable experience managing a wide spectrum of paediatric cases, with meaningful responsibility and direct consultant supervision.
The Role n
As an Advanced Trainee Registrar, you will:

• Manage inpatient and outpatient paediatric cases
n • Participate in on-call and acute paediatric presentations
n • Work closely with experienced consultant paediatricians
n • Be involved in teaching, case discussions, and service development
n • Gain broad regional exposure not always available in metro centres
n
