W Sydney is now casting for Demi Chefs (Banquets) ! We have both a PT and FT role available depending on the candidates availability and working rights in Australia.

n

The ideal candidate possesses genuine excitement and passion for good food and the desire to grow in the industry. You will work with quality products and assist in the Conference & events (Banquets) of the hotel.

n

Proven experience in a fast paced and quality driven working environment

n
- n

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food

n
- n

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist

n
- n

Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment

n
- n

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications

n

n

REQUIREMENTS

- n

Available to work weekends, and public holidays as needed for business demands

n
- n

Must be passionate about food and keen to showcase their ability in fast-paced environment

n
- n

Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse and dynamic team

n

Able to communicate and showcase reliability
