About the Role

n

Working alongside the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation and ongoing success of the venue.

n

You'll help lead the team, drive sales initiatives, support local marketing, coordinate events and ensure every customer leaves wanting to come back.

n

Success in this role comes from creating outstanding experiences while continually improving venue performance across customer service, functions, competitions, memberships and repeat visitation.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Deliver exceptional customer experiences from arrival through to departure.

n

Lead by example, creating a fun, energetic and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff.

n

Support the Venue Manager in achieving weekly and monthly sales, operational and customer experience targets.

n

Drive growth across memberships, competitions, leagues, functions and events.

n





Coordinate and deliver corporate events, birthday parties, sporting club functions and private bookings.

n

Build relationships with local businesses, schools, sporting clubs and community groups to generate new business opportunities.

n

Assist in planning and executing local area marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

n

Coach and develop team members to deliver consistent service standards and operational excellence.

n

Ensure the venue is clean, safe and presented to the highest brand standards at all times.

n

Support rostering, stock control, venue administration and day-to-day operational activities.

n

Conduct basic troubleshooting of simulator technology and coordinate technical support when required.

n

Ensure enquiries via phone, email and online channels are responded to promptly and professionally.

n

Assist in coordinating team meetings, training and action plans that drive continuous improvement.

n

Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and venue standards.

n

About You

n

You'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading from the front and creating a positive team culture.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

Previous experience in hospitality, entertainment or customer service.

n

Experience coordinating events or functions.

n





Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

n

Confidence leading and motivating a team.

n

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

n

A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.

n

A commercial mindset with an interest in growing venue performance.

n

Experience using POS and booking systems.

n

Current RSA (or willingness to obtain one).

n

Current Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain one).

n

An interest in golf is highly regarded, but absolutely not essential.
