nWe are now looking for an exceptional Audiologist to join our experienced and supportive team.n

nThe Opportunityn

nWe currently have an opportunity for a Part-Time or Full-Time Audiologist, working across our Richmond and Footscray clinics.n
n
nImmediate start available.n
n
nThis role is ideally suited to an experienced clinician who enjoys variety, values clinical independence and is passionate about providing genuinely patient-centred care.n
n
nAt earLAB, your role won't be limited to hearing tests and hearing aids. Our scope of practice is broad, giving you the chance to develop your skills across a diverse range of audiology and ear health services.n
n
nWhat You'll Don
n
nYour primary responsibilities will include:n
n
nConducting comprehensive hearing assessments for clients aged 10 years and overn
nConducting audiological assessments, diagnosis and development of individualised management plansn
nProviding bespoke hearing and communication solutions based on each client's needs, lifestyle and goalsn
nFitting, programming, fine-tuning and managing hearing aids and other hearing devicesn
nConducting ear health assessments, including video otoscopyn
nPerforming aural microsuction and ear wax managementn
nProviding custom hearing protection solutions for individuals and workplacesn
nTaking ear impressions for custom hearing protection and custom in-ear monitors (CIEMs)n
nWorking with musicians, performers, sound engineers and other professionals who rely on their hearingn
nWorking with DVA, private and insurance-funded clientsn
nEducating clients and the wider community about hearing health and hearing loss preventionn
nMaintaining accurate clinical records and high-quality clinical documentationn
nReferring clients to GPs, ENT specialists, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers when appropriaten
nCollaborating with educators, allied health professionals, community organisations and workplace health professionalsn
nContributing to hearing conservation programs and initiatives across different industriesn
nEngaging with the community to promote hearing health, prevention and accessible ear caren
nKeeping up to date with advances in audiology, hearing technology and evidence-based clinical practicen
nAbout Youn

nWe're looking for someone who is clinically capable, curious, compassionate and genuinely cares about people.n
n
nYou will ideally have:n
n
nA recognised qualification in Audiologyn




nFull membership with Audiology Australia or an equivalent professional bodyn
nA current Clinical Certificate of Practicen
nClinical experience as an Audiologistn
nExperience conducting hearing assessments, diagnostics and treatment planningn
nExperience with hearing aid fitting, programming and hearing technologyn
nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide effective counsellingn
nA genuine commitment to patient-centred care and achieving the best possible outcomesn
nThe ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a collaborative teamn
nInitiative and a willingness to contribute ideas and continuously improve the services we providen
nA commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practicen
nExperience in the following areas is highly regarded:n
nAural microsuction / manual ear wax removaln
nCustom hearing protectionn
nEar impression takingn
nCustom in-ear monitors (CIEMs)n
nHearing conservation programsn
nDVA servicesn
nInsurance-funded servicesn
nWorking with musicians, performers or people working in high-noise environmentsn
