The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.
The Senior Administrative Officer provides responsive, high‑quality administrative and project support to the Regional South Delivery Zone. The role delivers advice on complex administrative, financial and HR matters, coordinates correspondence, and supports sensitive Ministerial customer and stakeholder responses. The role also undertakes support to projects requiring analytical skills and the preparation of written reports including analysing information on complex administrative matters, exercising sound judgement, and compiling material into formats suitable for the Manager’s consideration and action.
We seek a proactive, organised and adaptable professional with excellent communication skills, sound judgement, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
Special Conditions
- This role is located at Murray Bridge.
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.
Remuneration
ASO4 - $82,212 to $86,180 pa + superannuation.
