nAmpol Inverell Roadhouse is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy 24-hour service station and convenience retail business in Inverell, NSW. The site provides fuel and convenience services and also includes facilities such as truck parking, showers, public toilets and a restaurant. n
n
nKey Responsibilitiesn
n•Manage the daily operations of the service station, convenience store and associated retail services, ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation. n
n•Monitor fuel and convenience product ranges, stock levels and ordering requirements to ensure products are available to meet customer demand. n
n•Develop and implement effective purchasing, pricing and promotional strategies to support sales and profitability. n
n•Promote fuel, convenience products and other services offered by the business and provide customers with knowledgeable and professional assistance. n
n•Maintain accurate records of stock movements, sales, cash transactions and other financial information. n
n•Monitor store budgets, sales performance and operating expenses to support the financial objectives of the business. n
n•Recruit,



train, supervise and roster staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service across the 24-hour operation. n
n•Manage customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved professionally and promptly. n
n•Ensure fuel, convenience store and food-service operations comply with workplace health and safety, food safety and company requirements. n
n•Coordinate day-to-day operations to maintain reliable service for local customers, travellers and heavy-vehicle operators using the roadhouse. n
n
nQualifications:n
n•Tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management (preferred but not required)n
n•Minimum of 1 year experience in retail management, preferably within a service station, convenience store, roadhouse or similar high-volume retail environment.n
n
nSkills & Requirements:n
n•Strong understanding of stock control, purchasing, sales and retail operations. n
n•Demonstrated ability to supervise, train and manage staff. n
n•Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. n
n•Good financial, organisational and time-management skills. n
n•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24-hour retail environment. n
n•Robust understanding of workplace health and safety and the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and well-presented store. n
