Essential Functions of The Job
n We are looking for Technology Project Manager for a contract of 6 months role based out of Sydney with possible extension.
Qualifications Basic
n Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Skills and Responsibilities

- An excellent opportunity is available for you to join as an experienced Project Manager within our Projects & Change team.

- To be successful, you must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to forge and develop effective working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
n
- Prior experience leading Finance projects in the FP&A; domain, particularly initiatives focussed on improving internal reporting and management information.
n
- You will be joining an in-flight project, with both short-term and long-term milestones, as well as scope to expand significantly into further multi-year phases.
n
- An ability to hit the ground running, quickly build relationships, and understand new concepts will therefore be essential.
n

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

n

n
- Delivering the project in accordance with a best-practise project governance framework
n
- End to end project and work stream management
n




- Managing cross functional relationships (including at the executive level) across the all business units within the group and take ownership of key client engagement for the project.
n
- Working with BAU teams to define and implement new target operating models
n
- Partnering with relevant operating groups (including technology) to deliver the project, developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
n
- Timely identification and triage of project issues and risks
n
- Managing project budgets to tolerance.
n
- To be successful, you will be university qualified with project management experience, across diverse projects .
n

You have the following skills and experience:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Extensive project management experience, leading finance projects, in fp&a; domain
n
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
n
- Ability to motivate and influence project stakeholders
n
- Flexible skill set and confident approach to tackling issues
n
- Experience motivating, leading and influencing project teams
n
- The drive and desire to continually improve the role and function
n
- A 'can do' attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes
n
- Prince2 or PMI qualifications, a degree in finance/commerce/accounting and/or a CA/CPA qualification are all an advantage.
