Design Gallery is a boutique interior design house founded in 1995, specialising in commercial interior design across Australia and internationally. With a strong focus on the rapid-paced and highly competitive retail and hospitality sectors, we deliver tailored solutions for individual clients, corporate chains, and franchise businesses.

We work a four day week (Mondays to Thursdays) in our studio, nestled in a serene and leafy property in Burpengary. We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and experienced Senior Designer to join our close-knit team.

Primary Scope of Responsibilities

n

- Meeting clients and interpreting design briefs
n
- Concept design for client presentation including form, structure, and finishes
n
- Creating 3D concept renders with Enscape
n
- Preparing technical documentation packages with Revit
n

n

Secondary Scope of Responsibilities

n

n
- Collaboration on design projects with team members
n
- Leading and assisting the design team throughout projects
n
- Crosschecking team members' documentation packages
n
- Liaising with clients, shopfitters, architects, retail design managers, engineers, certifiers, contractors, and suppliers
n

Essential Skill Requirements

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commercial Interior Design or Interior Architecture
n




- A minimum of 5 years industry experience in the commercial design field
n
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Enscape
n
- Comprehensive understanding of sound design principles and techniques
n
- A flair for design and concept development
n
- An extensive portfolio of past works
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management
n
