Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Insurance Valuer to join our team based in Capalaba. About the Role

n

Working as part of a supportive and experienced team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reports and providing expert advice to our clients across a diverse range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Preparing Building Replacement Insurance Valuations
n
- Conducting on-site building inspections
n
- Estimating replacement costs for existing buildings
n
- Interpreting building plans, drawings and specifications
n
- Liaising professionally with clients, strata managers and stakeholders
n
- Producing accurate reports using advanced Excel-based systems
n
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and reporting
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

n

n
- Experience in quantity surveying, estimating or construction cost management
n




- Experience preparing insurance replacement valuations and/or sinking fund forecasts (highly regarded)
n
- Experience within the strata, body corporate or property sector
n
- A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent trade background with relevant estimating experience
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions and macros
n
- The ability to accurately interpret architectural and construction drawings, including BMS, BUP, GTP and other strata plan types
n
- Experience physically assessing existing buildings and preparing replacement cost estimates
n
- Excellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- A current Australian Driver Licence
n
