nSalary range: $79,500 - $85,000 - depending on skills level and work experience + superannuation.n

nAs a Residential Care Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults to live with dignity, comfort and choice. You’ll deliver compassionate, person-centred care in a welcoming community, working alongside a dedicated team that truly values respect, inclusion and quality of life. n
n
nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESn
n
nClient Assessment & Supportn
n• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop tailored care plans that promote independence and quality of life.n
n• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting support strategies as needed and documenting outcomes for ongoing review.n
n
nCommunity Liaison & Advocacyn
n• Identify gaps in local health, housing, and social services, and collaborate with government agencies, community groups, and private providers to improve access for clients.n
n• Refer clients to specialist services - such as allied health, counselling,



or financial aid - and maintain solid networks to ensure seamless support.n
n
nProgram Development & Reportingn
n• Design and implement educational and recreational programs that foster social engagement, skill development, and emotional wellbeing for residents.n
n• Prepare funding submissions and detailed reports for government bodies and funding partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.n
n
nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE:n
n• Up-to-date annual flu vaccination and full COVID-19 immunisation.n
n• Signed statutory declaration disclosing any serious overseas criminal history.n
n• Minimum 1-year relevant, full-time experience.n
n• Diploma/relevant qualification.n
n• Satisfactory police check.n
n• Valid driver’s license and own transport.n
n• Team player with a genuine commitment to long-term employment.n
n• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (within 5 years) Preferable.n
