Parra-Legal & Associates is a growing boutique law firm seeking a motivated and personable Solicitor with 2–3 years’ post-admission experience (PAE) to join our team.n

nWe are a small, client-focused practice handling a diverse range of matters, including conveyancing and property law, immigration law, family law, debt recovery, wills and estates, and general legal matters.n
n
nThis is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys variety, client interaction and taking ownership of their matters in a supportive small-firm environment.n

nAbout the Rolen
n
nYou will have the chance to work across a diverse range of matters and will be involved in the day-to-day carriage of files from commencement through to resolution.n
n
nYour responsibilities may include:n
n
nManaging your own files and progressing matters efficiently;n
nConducting client conferences and providing practical legal advice;n
nDrafting and reviewing legal correspondence, contracts, agreements, applications and other legal documents;n
nConducting legal research and preparing advice;n
nHandling conveyancing and property transactions, including contracts, settlements and related matters;n
nAssisting with immigration and visa matters;n
nConducting family law matters and corresponding with clients and other practitioners;n
nManaging debt recovery matters;n
nPreparing wills, estate planning documents and assisting with estate administration;n
nAppearing in or assisting with matters before relevant courts and tribunals, where appropriate;n
nLiaising with clients, barristers, government departments, courts, agents and other stakeholders; andn
nMaintaining accurate file management, time recording and compliance with professional obligations.n

nWe are looking for someone who:n

nIs an Australian-admitted solicitor with 2–3 years’ PAE;n
nHas strong written and verbal communication skills;n
nIs confident communicating directly with clients;n
nHas strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills;n
nCan manage competing priorities and deadlines;n
nIs proactive and able to work independently while also being a team player;n
nHas a practical and commercial approach to legal problem-solving;n
nIs professional, approachable and committed to providing excellent client service; andn
nIs willing to work across different areas of law and develop their skills within a general practice environment.n

nExperiencen
n
nExperience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:n
n
nConveyancing / Property Lawn
nImmigration / Migration Lawn
nFamily Lawn
nDebt Recovery / Civil Litigationn
nWills & Estatesn
nGeneral Commercial or Civil Lawn
n
nMigration agent registration or experience with immigration matters will be highly regarded but is not essential.n
