Retaining Walls Australia (RWA) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team based in Loganholme, QLD.

n

This is a critical role within the business, responsible for overseeing projects from tender through to completion, with a strong focus on project delivery, commercial performance, site management and client relationships.

n

We are looking for more than someone who can manage a programme — we want the right person who can take ownership, make sound commercial decisions and drive successful project outcomes.

About the Role

n

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of retaining wall projects, including:

n

Managing projects from tender review through to completion and handover.

n

Reviewing tenders, scopes, specifications, pricing, methodology and commercial risks.

n

Preparing and contributing to tender submissions.

n

Managing project programmes, resources, labour, plant and subcontractors.

n

Providing effective oversight of site operations and construction activities.

n

Managing project budgets, costs, margins, forecasting and financial performance.

n

Preparing and submitting accurate progress claims and invoices within contractual timeframes.

n

Identifying, documenting and recovering variations, claims and extensions of time.

n

Managing client, consultant, subcontractor and supplier relationships.

n

Ensuring project quality requirements are met, including the collation, review and submission of all required quality records, inspections, test results and handover documentation.

n

Ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements and maintaining our Zero Harm – everyone returns home safely every day commitment.

n

Providing accurate project reporting, including programme, financials, risks, opportunities and project status.

n

Driving projects through to successful completion and close-out.

About You

n





We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can demonstrate:

n

Proven experience managing civil construction, retaining wall or similar construction projects.

n

Strong commercial and financial management skills.

n

Demonstrated experience with progress claims, variations, EOTs and project forecasting.

n

Robust understanding of construction contracts, scopes, specifications and project documentation.

n

Experience reviewing tenders and preparing or contributing to tender submissions.

n

Strong site management and project delivery capability.

n

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

n

The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

n

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accountability.

n

A practical, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to make decisions.

n

The ability to lead, influence and build strong relationships across project teams.
