A multi-generational Australian family business is hiring a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of its finance function. They design, import, and distribute clothing products across wholesale, multi-site retail, concessions, and e-commerce.

THE ROLE Day-to-day: nn
- Cin7 → Xero reconciliation
n
- Debtor finance reporting
n
- Creditor management & payment runs
n
- BAS, payroll, month-end close
n
- Accruals & prepayments
n

Periodic: nn
- Year-end AU & NZ
n




- Inventory & landed costs
n
- FX contract management
n
- Agent commissions & store rent
n
- External accountant liaison
n

You’ll partner closely with the directors. You're the hub connecting ops, leadership, and compliance.

WHAT THEY NEED n

n
- Inventory system hands-on experience (Cin7, DEAR, AP21, Unleashed - any platform)
n
- Xero proficiency (non-negotiable)
n
- Wholesale, retail, or importing background
n
- Debtor/invoice finance facility exposure
n
- Small business or family business experience
n
- Strong communicator (can translate numbers for non-financial audiences)
n
- CA or CPA qualified (commercial smarts + systems capability)
n
