Job Description

n

Lead a small technical team responsible for daily customer issue triage across the Underground Technologies product portfolio
n Work with Product Support, Deployment, and Application Specialists to understand and prioritise customer-reported issues
n Facilitate technical discussions across teams and stakeholders
n Track issues from initial report through analysis, root cause identification, and resolution
n Perform detailed analysis of customer and engineering data to identify root causes
n Develop data collection and experimentation plans for complex investigations
n Apply modern data analysis techniques and AI-assisted tools
n Identify product improvement opportunities through customer issue and operational trend analysis
n Partner with architects and software engineering teams on corrective actions and long-term product improvements
n Support implementation and validation of engineering solutions
n Provide technical leadership for cross-functional investigations involving hardware, software, communications, and operational systems
n Improve engineering test coverage, data collection methods, troubleshooting processes, and validation approaches
n Drive continuous improvement in root cause analysis and product quality processes
n Partner with Product Support, Deployment, Software, Systems, Architecture, Integration, and Validation teams
n Support global customers and mining operations through data-driven investigations
n Align teams, communicate complex findings, and drive resolution of highly complex system-level issues

Requirements n

n
- Previous experience in underground mining and mining technologies
n
- Technical leadership experience leading teams or complex engineering initiatives
n
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex systems issues in operational environments
n
- Experience working across software, systems, integration, and validation disciplines
n




- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to lead investigations involving multiple stakeholders and technical disciplines
n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
n
- Ability to influence technical direction and drive alignment across organisations
n
- Experience working in global cross-functional teams
n
- Experience in one or more of: underground mining technologies; data analytics and data science; AI-based tools for data analysis; mining automation and tele-remote systems; positioning and production management systems; people and vehicle tracking technologies; proximity awareness and collision avoidance systems; systems integration and validation
n
- Must work onsite five days a week
n
