Logan, Queensland | Full-time | Hybrid (Clinic & Community) | $100-$110,000 Salary + $20,000 Car Allowance + Super + Incentives + $3,000 PD

About the opportunity

As an Occupational Therapist with ClearSky, you will support clients with a range of cognitive, physical, developmental and psychosocial needs. You will deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention to build independence, functional capacity, participation and quality of life.

The 40/40/20 model
n
A team leader at ClearSky Allied Health works off a 40/40/20 approximate split of their time in any given period.
n
n
- 40% billable client caseload activities
n
- 40% team member support, quality assurance and clinical or practice supervision
n
- 20% Occupational Therapy practice development
n
n
What you'll be doing
n
Clinical service delivery
n
n
- Deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention across clinic, community and telehealth environments.
n
- Manage a reduced caseload of participants with complex needs.
n
- Complete environmental modification and equipment assessments.
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes, reports and records.
n
n
Team leadership and performance oversight
n
n
- Maintain active awareness of clinician workload, priorities and deadlines.
n
- Monitor performance against billable expectations, monthly goals and service targets.
n
- Identify at‐risk work, investigate barriers and agree recovery actions.
n
- Escalate unresolved clinical, performance, quality or safety concerns.
n
n
Clinical supervision and capability
n
n
- Provide regular supervision, evidence-based advice and operational support.
n
- Give respectful, specific and actionable feedback.
n
- Identify development needs and recurring capability gaps.
n
- Model effective caseload, documentation and stakeholder management.
n
n
Quality assurance and practice development
n
n
- Review reports and clinical documentation to improve quality and client outcomes.
n
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of work submitted for review.
n
- Develop training, resources and process improvements.
n
- Contribute to targeted education and service‐improvement initiatives.
n
n
What we are looking for
n
Essential
n
n
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
n
- Current AHPRA registration.
n
- Minimum five years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.
n
- Minimum one year's experience as a Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role.
n
- Demonstrated skill in supervision, coaching, quality assurance and performance support.
n
- High‐level communication, negotiation and stakeholder‐management skills.
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving capability.
n
- Knowledge of relevant disability or human‐services legislation and practice.
n
- Current Australian driver licence.
n
n
Compliance requirements
n
n
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
n
- Blue Card, or willingness and eligibility to obtain.
n
- Yellow Card, or willingness and eligibility to obtain.
n
