This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and can be based in either Adelaide, Brisbane or Parramatta. You'll report directly to the Manager of Legal Services and be part of a supportive, high-performing legal team.

You'd be expected to:

n

n
- Advise on contracts, leases, intellectual property, procurement, compliance and insurance matters
n
- Lead or support negotiations with suppliers, government bodies, private entities and other parties
n
- Provide legal advice and support relating to commercial contracts, MOUs, leases, licences, intellectual property protection, consumer law, procurement and probity, privacy and data protection, risk management, corporate compliance and insurance.
n
- Help shape NHVR's legal strategies and policies
n
- Promote legal risk management aligned with NHVR's governance standards
n

About You

n

n
- Strong experience in commercial law and contract negotiation
n
- Strong experience in software contract review and preparation
n
- Experience in commercial leasing transactions including leases, licences, deeds of variation and other tenure related matters
n
- Ability to strategically manage legal risk
n
- Commercially minded and outcomes focused
n
- Excellent communication and client service skills
n
- Confidence in negotiating and influencing stakeholders
n
- Integrity and alignment with NHVR's values
n

To be successful in this role you will possess

n

n




- At least 7 years' experience as a legal practitioner in commercial/regulatory law
n
- Admission to practice law in the High Court or a State/Territory Supreme Court
n
- Proven ability to work strategically, flexibly, and independently
n
