Looking to take the lead on impactful bridge and transport infrastructure projects across Western Australia?

We’re seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our high-performing Structural team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering complex designs, mentoring engineers, and shaping the future of infrastructure across the state.
n
The Opportunity:
n
Reporting to the WA Structural Discipline Manager, you will operate as a technical specialist delivering structural engineering services across the transport sector, with a strong focus on bridge infrastructure.
n
You’ll lead the planning and delivery of engineering work, applying sound judgement to complex challenges including competing design requirements, material constraints and multi-disciplinary coordination.
n
This role combines technical leadership, project delivery and client engagement, with opportunities to contribute to proposals, support business development, and mentor junior team members.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Deliver structural design and analysis for bridge and transport infrastructure projects
n
- Plan and execute work to meet budget, schedule and quality targets
n
- Prepare and review design calculations, reports, specifications and drawings
n
- Mentor and support junior engineers, designers and drafters
n
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and regulatory authorities
n
- Contribute to proposals, project planning and business development activities
n
- Support delivery of MRWA projects, including ETS panel work and inspections
n
n
About You:
n
You are a technically strong and commercially aware Structural Engineer with deep experience in infrastructure, particularly bridges, and a passion for mentoring and developing others.
n
n
- Degree in Engineering (Structural or equivalent) with 10+ years’ experience (including 7+ years in infrastructure)
n
nn
- Strong expertise in bridge design and civil infrastructure within a consulting setting
n
- Solid understanding of MRWA design processes, with ETS panel and bridge inspection experience highly regarded
n
- Proficient in SpaceGass, STAAD Pro or Strand7
n
- Ability to independently prepare and check design calculations
n
- Chartered (CPEng) or able to obtain within 6 months
n
n
