Electrical Project Manager n
South of the River, Perth, WA $150,000-$170,000 + Super + Bonus Full-Time

An exciting chance is available for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial electrical projects across Perth.

This position is ideal for a technically strong, organised and motivated professional who can successfully coordinate projects, lead site teams and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.

About the Role n
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing electrical projects from initial planning and procurement through to delivery, commissioning and handover.
n
Projects may include:
n

- Shopping centres
n
- Warehouses and factories
n
- Childcare facilities
n
- Retirement facilities
n
- Car yards and haulage centres
n
- Waste treatment plants
n
- Apartment complexes
n
- Council properties
n
- Food-processing plants
n
- Recycling centres
n
Key Responsibilities nn
- Plan, coordinate and deliver electrical projects safely, on time and within budget
n
- Manage project schedules, labour, materials, subcontractors and procurement
n
- Lead, motivate and support supervisors, tradespeople and project teams
n
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, scopes and technical documentation
n
- Monitor project costs, variations, progress claims and financial performance
n
- Liaise with clients, consultants, builders, suppliers and other stakeholders
n
- Coordinate site activities and resolve technical or operational issues
n
- Ensure all works comply with relevant electrical standards, regulations and safety requirements
n
- Maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation
n
- Conduct progress meetings and provide regular project updates
n
- Oversee testing, commissioning, defects and final project handover
n
- Use project-management software to track scheduling, costing and project performance
n
About You n
To be successful, you will require:
n
n
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial or industrial electrical projects
n
- A current WA Electrical Licence
n
- Strong electrical and technical knowledge
n
- Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams
n
- Excellent organisation, planning and time-management skills
n
- Strong computer literacy and reporting capabilities
n
- Commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
n
- Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
n
- Robust commitment to safety, quality and compliance
n
- Simpro experience is highly advantageous
n
