You'll join our team at the Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre, as part of the mental health services team and provide a range of clinical support to adults in our care including:

n

- Conducting independent risk assessments of harm to self or others, including acute or chronic risk
n
- Providing psychoeducation related to mental health conditions, symptoms and treatment options to individuals
n
- Delivering individual or group-based skill acquisition focused interventions aimed at developing coping skills and building resilience
n

n

The Location:

n

LVCC is Queensland's newest and largest correctional facility, opened in September 2025. LVCC is a contemporary, fit-for-purpose facility and has a strong focus on rehabilitation, emphasising mental health services, substance abuse treatment, education and vocational training.

Mandatory Requirements:

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and registration or eligibility for registration with APHRA; OR
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and registration or eligibility for registration with APHRA; OR
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and membership or eligibility for membership with AASW; AND
n
