New Farm Medical Centre Pty Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and organised Senior Medical Receptionist to join our close-knit team in New Farm, Queensland. This casual position will see you play a vital front-line customer service position, responsible for efficiently managing patient enquiries, bookings, and administrative duties. Ideal candidate will be available to work 3-5 days a week with potential to become permanent PT/FT and available to start ASAP.

What you'll be doing
n

- Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional experience
n
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments across multiple doctors
n
- Liaising with patients to obtain and update medical information
n
- Handling patient enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
n
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in our medical software system
n
- Performing general clerical and administrative tasks as required
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical receptionist
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of patients
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
n
- Proficient in using medical software systems. Best Practice experience essential
n
- A calm, qualified and empathetic approach when dealing with patients
n
- A genuine interest in the medical industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
n
- Experience as 2IC or team lead highly advantageous
n
