Merchandise Planner | Be Part of a Fashion Brand's Next Chapter
n
Some roles ask you to maintain what already exists. This one asks you to help build what comes next.
n
We're partnering with a fashion brand in the middle of genuine reinvention — rethinking its strategy, reshaping its range and actively exploring new avenues for growth. It's a rare moment in a brand's life, and they're looking for a Merchandise Planner who wants to be part of shaping it, not just watching it happen.
n
If you're energised by change, curious about the "why" behind the numbers, and ready to learn from planning leaders who've done this before, this is worth a conversation.
n
The Opportunity:
n
You'll join a business that's on the front foot — questioning old assumptions, testing new ideas, and genuinely open to doing things differently. As part of the planning team, you'll play a hands‐on role in shaping range strategy and commercial decisions during a period where those decisions actually matter and are felt across the business.
n You won't be planning in isolation. You'll work closely with senior planning professionals who are invested in developing your thinking, not just reviewing your numbers — the kind of environment where questions are welcomed and mentorship is real, not just a line in a job ad.
n
What sets this apart:
n
n
- A business in genuine transformation, not just talking about change but acting on it
n
- Direct exposure to senior planning leadership and the strategic thinking behind major business decisions
n
- The chance to influence range and assortment strategy during a pivotal growth phase
n
- Real room to develop — technically, commercially and as a future planning leader
n
n
What You'll Do:
n
n
- Build and manage financial and range plans that support the brand's evolving strategy
n
- Partner with Buying and Design to shape assortments that reflect where the brand is headed, not just where it's been
n
- Manage OTB, stock flow, markdown and margin to deliver commercial outcomes
n
- Bring an analytical, curious lens to trade — spotting opportunities and risks early
n
- Contribute to the bigger strategic conversations happening across the business as it explores new growth opportunities
n
- Learn directly from senior planners and leadership, building the skills and commercial judgement to grow your own career
n
n
What You'll Bring:
n
n
- Experience in merchandise planning within apparel or fashion retail
n
- A genuine curiosity and appetite for learning — comfortable asking questions and stretching into new territory
n
- Solid commercial and analytical skills, with the judgement to know when to trust the data and when to look deeper
n
- Confidence to contribute ideas in a business that's actively looking for fresh thinking
n
- Adaptability and resilience — this is a business in motion, not standing still
n
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build solid relationships across Buying, Design and Leadership
n
n
Joining a brand through change means getting a seat at the table while the big decisions are still being made — not after the fact. It's a genuine opportunity to grow faster than you would in a business that isn't changing, surrounded by people who want to help you do it.
