We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Front Office and for providing guests with a high level of customer service at all times.
n
Key areas of responsibility include:
n
n
- Administrative duties – including reservations, responding to emails, accounts & cash handling
n
- Answer and redirect phone calls in a timely and professional manner
n
- Develop and maintain relations with current and prospective recent clients, to encourage repeat business and generate new business
n
- Ensure Hotel guests are attended to in a timely and efficient manner
n
- Action all Guest check-in and checkouts
n
- Respond to reservation emails
n
- Take and respond to phone reservations
n
- Have a good knowledge of current packages, room rates and room configurations
n
- Ensure presentation and maintenance of all areas of accommodation areas is maintained to a high standard at all times
n
- Ensure all incidents involving property damage, accidents and injuries staff or guests are reported to manager
n
n
Our ideal candidate will have experience with CMS hospitality front office program along with exceptional customer service and presentation skills with a good understanding of the hospitality industry.
n
Other essential attributes to be successful in this role:
n
n
- Previous experience in similar role
n
- Ability to work 4 – 5 shifts a week, including weekends
n
- Experience with CMS Front Office system an advantage
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Ability to work in a busy customer environment
n
- Flexibility and reliability
n
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
n
- Excellent attention to detail
n
- Ability to work under pressure
n
n
