Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Projects & Design) to join our Brisbane team , contributing to the design and delivery of complex electrical systems and engineered solutions for high-profile projects.

About the Role
n
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest engineering standards.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- n
Design and develop low-voltage electrical systems and switchboards
n
- n
Produce engineering drawings, schematics, calculations, and technical documentation
n
- n
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting, and system validation activities
n
- n
Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian and international standards including AS/NZS, IEC, ANZEx, and IECEx requirements
n
- n
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous safety improvement initiatives
n
- n
Collaborate closely with project managers, manufacturing teams, contractors, and customers to deliver high-quality outcomes
n
- n
Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for a motivated engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging projects and thrives in a collaborative environment.
n
You will bring:
n
n
- n
Electrical trade background and/or Degree in Electrical Engineering
n
- n
Minimum 4 years' experience in electrical design and project delivery
n
- n
RPEQ registration, or the ability to obtain registration
n
- n
Robust working knowledge of AutoCAD and PowerCAD
n
- n
Experience designing switchboards and LV electrical systems
n
- n
Sound understanding of Australian electrical standards and compliance requirements
n
n
Highly Regarded:
n
n
- n
Experience within mining, oil & gas, defence, manufacturing, utilities, or other hazardous industrial environments
n
- n
Knowledge of instrumentation, hazardous area installations, and Ex-certified equipment
n
- n
Familiarity with hazardous area certification processes and IECEx requirements
n
n
