nAbout the Rolen
nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Glazier to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an key role in the preparation, installation, replacement, and finishing of glass components for a wide range of aluminium window and door systems. n
n
nKey Responsibilities include but not limited to:n
n•Interpret work orders, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine the correct glass types, dimensions, and installation requirements for aluminium window and door systems. n
n•Measure, mark, cut, and prepare glass panels to precise specifications using specialised glazing tools and equipment. n
n•Inspect glass products for defects, damage, or imperfections prior to fabrication and installation, ensuring only high-quality materials are used. n
n•Install glass into aluminium windows, sliding doors, bi-fold doors, fixed panels, splashbacks, and other architectural glazing systems while ensuring secure fit and proper sealing. n




n•Remove and replace damaged or broken glass safely and efficiently during repair, maintenance, or refurbishment projects. n
n•Finish and smooth glass edges where required to achieve safe handling and a professional appearance. n
n•Apply glazing compounds, sealants, gaskets, and other fixing systems to ensure weather resistance, structural integrity, and long-term performance. n
n•Assist in the assembly, adjustment, and final inspection of completed window and door products before dispatch or installation. n
n•Handle glass products carefully during transportation, fabrication, and installation to minimise damage and material wastage. n
n•Work collaboratively with manufacturing, installation, and quality assurance teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and within required timeframes. n
n•Maintain glazing equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition. n
n•Comply with workplace health and safety procedures, safe manual handling practices, and relevant Australian Standards relating to glazing and construction. n
n
nQualifications:n
n•Certificate III in Glass and Glazing (preferred but not required)n
n•Relevant trade qualification or demonstrated experience as a Glazier. n
n
nSkills & Other Requirements:n
n•Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.n
n•Experience installing and handling residential and commercial glazing products, particularly aluminium window and door systems, is highly regarded. n
n•Ability to read technical drawings and accurately interpret measurements and specifications. n
n•Strong attention to detail with excellent workmanship and problem-solving skills. n
n•Knowledge of glazing techniques, sealants, hardware, and safe glass handling practices. n
n•Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. n
n•Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
