Job Description

This is a business development role built for someone who wants ownership of the full sale, not just the introduction. You will identify and win new commercial opportunities across Brisbane, then carry each one through to a quote and a close, working directly in Operating system from first contact to signed job.

Key responsibilities

n

Prospect and build a pipeline of recent commercial opportunities across primary sectors: aged care, government, education, and commercial FM

n

Run the client conversation from first enquiry through to close, understanding what each client actually needs before a quote is built

n

Prepare accurate estimates and proposals yourself, including identifying where surface protection and laser cleaning services can be bundled into a painting opportunity to strengthen the offer

n

Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients so repeat and referral work keeps building alongside new business

n

Manage your pipeline and every client interaction through Prime, our CRM, so nothing depends on memory or a notebook

n

Work closely with the Operations team to hand won jobs over cleanly, with the site and client detail delivery actually needs to meet expectations

n

Based out of the Brendale office, with regular travel across Brisbane and surrounds to meet clients and attend site

About you

n

Proven business development or sales experience,



ideally in commercial painting, trades, coatings, or related services

n

Genuine comfort preparing estimates or proposals, this role owns pricing, not just the relationship

n

Experience selling into compliance driven or institutional buyers is a strong plus, aged care, government, or facilities management especially

n

CRM confidence, comfortable keeping a pipeline current and accurate day to day

n

Strong communication and negotiation skills, and the discipline to qualify a lead properly rather than chase every enquiry

n

A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally
