- Key Experience: Complex project/program scheduling, critical path and dependency management, project governance, change management and senior stakeholder engagement

An prospect is available for an experienced Senior Project Scheduler with strong integrated scheduling expertise to support the delivery of large and complex government programs. You will operate at a senior level, providing visibility of project dependencies, milestones, risks and resource pressures while helping executives make informed delivery decisions.
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
- Lead the development and management of detailed, integrated schedules across complex projects and programs.
n
- Identify and manage critical paths, dependencies, milestones and potential impacts to program delivery.
n
- Provide strategic advice to senior executives on scheduling, resourcing, delivery risks and emerging issues.
n
- Undertake schedule impact analysis and develop practical mitigation strategies to keep delivery on track.
n
- Manage schedule baselines and change control, ensuring supporting governance and project artefacts remain current.
n
- Work closely with business,
technical and delivery stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve competing priorities.
n
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling practices, processes and capability across project and program teams.
n

Skills and Experience we are looking for:
n
n
- Significant experience managing complex projects or programs within a large government or similarly complex organisation.
n
- Strong expertise in integrated scheduling, including critical path analysis, dependencies, milestones and schedule performance.
n
- Advanced experience using project scheduling, reporting and project management tools.
n
- Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the delivery, governance, risk management and financial oversight of complex projects.
n
- Strong organisational change management experience, including leading change across large or complex environments.
n
- Experience defining and managing requirements and negotiating competing priorities with senior stakeholders.
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide clear advice to senior executives.
n
n
Experience leading teams, developing staff capability and establishing effective quality management practices will also be highly regarded.
