About the Opportunity

Working from our Bathurst branch on Wiradjuri Country, you'll be supported by experienced operators and leaders while developing the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a long-term career in transport and resource recovery.
n
This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced operational environment while developing professional driving skills with Australia's leading waste management company.

- Rear Lift Collection Vehicle

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Learning to safely operate a rear lift collection vehicle
n
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and safety checks
n
- Collecting waste and recycling from commercial and industrial customers
n
- Working safely around customer sites, loading zones and traffic environments
n
- Performing manual handling activities throughout your shift
n
- Following safe work procedures and operational requirements
n
- Building confidence through structured driver training and mentoring
n
- Delivering skilled customer service while representing Cleanaway
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
You don't need previous truck driving experience.
n

To be considered, you must:

- Hold a current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Have a minimum of 8 demerit points available
n
- Be able to obtain a Heavy Rigid Licence
n
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment
n
- Be willing to complete drug and alcohol testing
n
- Be comfortable with early morning starts
n
- Be physically capable of manual handling activities
n
- Be committed to completing the Driver Academy program
n
