We're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to provide financial leadership and play a key role in delivering our ambitious 3-year growth strategy.

n

This is more than a traditional financial control role. You'll act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, ensuring every major investment, initiative, and operational decision is supported by strong financial insight, commercial discipline, and sound governance.

Key Responsibilities

n

Strategic Financial Leadership

n

Provide enterprise financial leadership aligned with the organisation's growth strategy.

n

Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO on capital allocation, reinvestment strategy,



and potential M&A; opportunities.

n

Support strategic planning through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.

n

Ensure major initiatives and investments are evaluated against growth, margin, and return objectives.

n

Financial Governance & Control

n

Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all financial records.

n

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close and reporting processes.

n

Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.r

n

Manage audit processes and relationships with external auditors and advisors.

n

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cashflow

n

Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.

n

Oversee cashflow management, working capital, and balance sheet performance.

n

Monitor performance against budget and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities early.

n

Commercial Performance & Insight

n

Embed strong commercial discipline across the organisation.

n

Evaluate ROI on major initiatives, projects, and campaigns.

n

Provide clear financial insights that support smarter decision-making.

n

Strengthen governance and financial accountability across departments.

n

Reporting & Executive Engagement

n





Deliver meaningful financial reporting that provides insight, not just numbers.

n

Clearly articulate performance trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

n

Present financial insights to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and group stakeholders.

n

Finance Leadership

n

Lead and develop the finance function, uplifting capability, systems, and reporting standards.

n

Oversee a team of 2-3 finance professionals within the finance function.

n

Partner with leaders across the organisation to drive financial accountability and transparency.

n

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and robust financial stewardship.

n

What We're Looking For

n

We're seeking a finance leader who combines technical excellence with strong commercial judgement and strategic thinking.

n

You will bring:

n

10+ years' experience in senior financial management, financial control, or commercial finance roles.

n

CPA or CA qualification with strong technical accounting expertise.

n

Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and financial modelling in a growth-focused environment.

n

A robust commercial mindset, with the ability to influence senior leaders on investment and performance decisions.

n

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

n

Must have current Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
