Aston Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Sydney team, leading the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects and playing a key role in the continued growth of our business.

This is an opportunity for an experienced building services skilled who is ready to take the next step in their career - combining technical expertise with project leadership, client relationships and team development.

About the Role
n
As Associate Director, you will take a senior role across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, working closely with clients, architects, project managers, contractors and our internal engineering teams.
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
- Leading the delivery of multidisciplinary building services projects from concept through to completion
n
- Providing technical direction, design oversight and strategic engineering advice
n
- Managing project scope, programme, resources and delivery outcomes
n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
n
- Leading and mentoring engineers and supporting the development of the wider team
n
- Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering services to deliver integrated project outcomes
n
- Reviewing technical documentation, designs and project deliverables
n
- Identifying project opportunities and contributing to business development and new work
n
- Representing Aston in client meetings, project discussions and industry engagements
n
- Supporting the continued growth and development of Aston's Sydney operations
n

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for a confident and experienced engineering professional with:
n
n
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in building services engineering
n
- Experience delivering and managing multidisciplinary engineering projects
n
- Strong technical understanding across building services
n
- Proven experience managing client relationships and project stakeholders
n
- Strong project management, communication and leadership skills
n
- The ability to lead teams while remaining engaged with technical project outcomes
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- A degree in Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
n
