ABBA Engineering is looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder, Welder/Fabricator or Boilermaker to join our new Pinjarra workshop on a permanent, full-time basis.

n

You'll be hands-on across the full fabrication process, working on pipework, assemblies and equipment for our mining, dewatering and industrial projects.

n

You'll also have the chance to help establish the processes and standards of our new workshop as the operation grows.

The Role

n

You'll be involved from drawings through to completed assemblies, including:

n

n
- Fabricating stainless steel and carbon steel pipework
n
- TIG, GMAW/MIG and robotic welding
n
- 6G pipe welding where required
n
- Measuring, cutting, fitting and accurately aligning pipework
n
- Fabricating pipe spools, manifolds and pump assemblies
n
- Reading engineering drawings and specifications
n
- Grinding, polishing and weld finishing
n
- Inspecting and rectifying completed work
n
- Safely operating workshop equipment and forklifts
n
- Working with the wider team to deliver safe,



quality work on schedule

What You'll Need

n

n
- Trade qualification in Welding, Fabrication, Pipe Fitting or related trade
n
- Minimum 2 years' relevant post-trade experience
n
- Strong stainless steel and carbon steel pipe fabrication experience
n
- Strong TIG and MIG/GMAW welding skills
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings
n
- Strong measuring, fitting and alignment skills
n
- Ability to complete a 6G weld test where required
n
- Current C Class driver's licence
n
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
- Mining, dewatering or industrial fabrication experience
n
- Robotic welding experience
n
- Pump or similar assembly experience
n
- Additional relevant tickets.
