Be part of one of Melbourne CBD's most anticipated new hotel openings.

The Lane House is a new boutique apartment hotel in Bennetts Lane, comprising a mix of short- and long-stay apartment-style rooms in varying sizes. We are looking for a highly capable Senior Duty/Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-moving, guest-focused environment.

n

This is a highly visible, hands-on, guest-facing role. You will lead from the floor, support and develop the front-of-house team, solve problems in the moment and help shape the service culture of a brand-new property.

What you'll bring

n

n
- 5+ years' accommodation or hospitality experience, ideally in senior Duty Manager, Front Office, Guest Services or Rooms Division roles.
n
- Strong experience in an upscale, upper-upscale, luxury or serviced apartment environment.
n
- Exceptional guest service instincts, confidence and professional presence.
n
- Superior IT and systems capability.



Experience with Mews PMS is a solid advantage.
n
- A genuine appetite for innovation, new technology and smarter ways of working.
n
- Commercial awareness, strong organisation, sound judgement and the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

What you'll own

- Day-to-day front office and hotel operations.
n
- Guest experience, issue resolution, reservations and service delivery.
n
- Leadership, coaching and development of the front-of-house team.
n
- Coordination with housekeeping, maintenance, building and corporate teams.
n
- Continuous improvement of systems, SOPs and operating standards.
