About the Role

n

WS Remedial Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of remedial construction projects from planning through to completion.

n

Based in Brisbane, you will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard. Some travel may be required depending on project locations and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

n

Manage remedial construction projects from handover through to completion

n

Develop and maintain project programs, budgets and cost forecasts

n

Coordinate supervisors, technicians, subcontractors and suppliers

n

Review project scopes, contracts, specifications and construction documentation

n

Manage procurement, variations, progress claims and project reporting

n

Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders

n

Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and project progress

n

Identify and manage project risks, delays and commercial issues

n

Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS and company procedures

n

Maintain accurate project records within company systems

n

Support the successful handover and close-out of completed projects

n

Travel to project locations when required

n

About You

n

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

n

Previous Project Management experience within the construction industry

n





Experience in remedial construction, waterproofing, concrete repair, roofing or building rectification will be highly regarded

n

Strong knowledge of construction programming, budgeting and cost control

n

Experience managing subcontractors and site-based teams

n

Strong commercial awareness and experience managing variations

n

Excellent organisation, leadership and communication skills

n

The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects

n

Strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach

n

Willingness and ability to travel when required

n

A current White Card

n

Relevant construction or Project Management qualifications will be highly regarded

n
