About the role n
As a Ward Clerk, you’ll be an important first point of contact for patients, families and visitors, providing a welcoming, professional and caring service. You’ll play a key role in keeping the ward running smoothly, supporting reception and clerical functions, coordinating communication and managing patient movements.
n
Your attention to detail will help ensure patient records are accurate and up to date, while your communication and organisational skills will support the flow of information across the ward.
n

Key Accountabilities n
n
- Provide administrative and clerical support, maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
n
- Deliver a skilled, welcoming and patient-focused service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
n
- Support patient admissions, discharges and transfers in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
n
- Liaise with clinical, support and hospital teams, as well as patients and families, to facilitate effective communication.
n
- Coordinate reception and administrative activities to support the smooth and efficient operation of the ward.
n

- Relevant administration experience and sound computer skills
