Job Description
Onsite Adelaide based My Home Hospital (MyHH) Medical Officer roles-both based in Adelaide or working virtually from anywhere in Australia

Work onsite at our Virtual Care Centre located in Eastwood (South Australia) on a full time or part-time basis (0.6 FTE or greater commitment is preferred)
n
Participate in a 7-day rolling roster, working 8-hour shifts between 7am and 10pm.
n

Contribute to virtual cutting-edge health care delivery by:
n
n
- n
Exercising your experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of acute conditions.
n
- n
Both virtual and in-person face to face roles (such as the MyHH "Road Doctor") in our part of an interprofessional team are available.
n
- n
Managing acute presentations in the community of conditions, such as (but not limited to), cellulitis, community acquired pneumonia; exacerbation COPD, VTE, complicated UTI, cardiac failure, and acute post-operative care
n
- n
Collaborate with a broad multi-disciplinary team to support holistic patient-centred care
n
- n
Access to professional development and mentoring.

n
About you
n We are looking for Consultants in Emergency Medicine/various Specialty Physicians/General Practice that:
n
n
- n
Have full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner with at least 5 years’ experience as medical registrar, General Practitioner and/or with a Medical specialist interest.
n
- n
Can apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience to determine the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations, and treatment of patients with acute conditions, in line with clinical risk and compliance frameworks.
n
- n
Have confidence some experience in providing virtual care
n
- n
Confidence in reviewing biometric data trends to assist with early identification of deterioration is key
n
- n
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to being part of a high-performing health care team.
n
- n
Have a high level of professionalism, with the ability to relate well with people of all interests, background and abilities and a commitment to delivering exemplary care to our patients.
n
- n
Hold a current South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing to obtain).
n
- n
Hold a valid South Australian Drivers Licence if you are open to working some of the time as a MyHH 'Road Doctor'
n
