Job Description n

We are seeking a passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment serving our TurBARlence Tavern, room service and conference spaces. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality food experience,



maintaining exceptional food standards and supporting the wider kitchen team.

n

Duties include (but not limited to):

n

n
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
n
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
n
- Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place as required
n
- Follow all hotel and kitchen policies, procedures and standards
n
- Provide accurate menu and allergen information to the Food and Beverage team when required
n
- Keeps all working areas clean and tidy
n
- Be familiar with other areas in the Kitchen so when called upon, assistance can be provided
n

Qualifications n

n

n

n
- Previous chef experience
n
- Relevant cookery or trade qualifications
n
- Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen
n
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP
n
- Positive, versatile and able to work well under pressure
n
- Strong attention to detail and consistent food quality
n
- Available across early mornings, weekends and public holidays
n
- Full working rights in Australia
n
