Job Description n
Our 2027 Perioperative Postgraduate program provides a fantastic opportunity to extend your professional career by enhancing your skills and knowledge of perioperative nursing across one of the following streams:

- Perioperative Nursing
n
- Intraoperative Nursing
n
n
You will be supported, guided, and coached throughout the program by our dedicated Clinical Educators and senior clinicians.
n
This program commences in February 2027, you will work a rotating roster whilst completing a Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing, Intraoperative Nursing or Perianaesthesia Nursing in collaboration with our university partner, Deakin University.
n
Targeted scholarship funding to support course costs will be available for successful applicants.
n
These positions are 0.8 EFT , in recognition of the time commitment required to study and attend Deakin University classes, complete university assessments whilst also working to embed this knowledge into clinical practice. Full-time will be considered on a case-by-case basis at interview.
n

You will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency; OR New Zealand Citizenship
n
- A minimum of one-year acute clinical nursing experience following your graduate year within the perioperative setting.
n
n
