Role Requirements

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support business and operational decision-making
n
- Translate business requirements and reporting needs into effective Power BI solutions and data models
n
- Develop and optimise semantic models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
n
- Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud-based platforms
n
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs
n
- Ensure dashboards and reports are accurate, performant, user-friendly, and aligned with reporting standards
n
- Implement appropriate data security, including role-based access and row-level security
n
- Troubleshoot data, refresh, performance, and reporting issues
n
- Support deployment, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of Power BI solutions
n
- Contribute to reporting standards, reusable components, documentation,



and continuous improvement of BI practices
n

Required Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- 3–5+ years' experience in Power BI development, Business Intelligence, data analytics, or similar roles
n
- Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
n
- Strong proficiency inDAX, Power Query and data modelling
n
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and validation
n
- Experience integrating Power BI with multiple structured data sources
n
- Positive understanding of dimensional modelling, relationships, measures, KPIs, and reporting best practices
n
- Experience with Power BI Service including workspaces, scheduled refreshes, gateways, access management, and deployment
n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure data services such as Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks is desirable
n
- Experience implementing row-level security and appropriate data governance controls
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
n
- Experience working within Agile or technology delivery environments
