Help maintain some of Melbourne's premier sportsgrounds

n

We're looking forTurf Maintenance Officers (x2) to join our Open Space and Trees team and help maintain the quality, performance and presentation of our sportsgrounds across the municipality. These hands-on roles are ideal for experienced turf professionals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in delivering high-quality playing surfaces.

About the role n

Reporting to the Team Leader Sportsgrounds, you will:

- Undertake sportsground maintenance, mowing, turf renovations and irrigation works.
n
- Operate specialised turf maintenance equipment and machinery.
n
- Identify and address turf, irrigation and asset maintenance issues.
n
- Assist in maintaining secure, high-quality sporting surfaces across Council's 54 sportsgrounds.
n

About you n

You will have:

n

n
- Certificate III in Sports Turf Management including equivalent industry experience.
n




- Experience maintaining sportsgrounds and/or golf course turf.
n
- Experience operating turf maintenance machinery and irrigation systems.
n
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
n
- 9-day fortnight
