About the role
n Due to continued expansion, EGroup Protective Services Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and manager our team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security in one of Brisbane's most premium commercial sites located in the CBD. In this full-time position based in Brisbane's CBD, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations and leading a team of security professionals to deliver exceptional service.

What you'll be doing

- Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and procedures to mitigate risks and protect our clients' assets
n
- Managing a team of security officers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
n
- Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
n
- Liaising with clients, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
n
- Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on security incidents and operations
n
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements in the security field
n

What we're looking for

- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a security management role,
preferably within the security services industry
n
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
n
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on risk mitigation
n
- Thorough understanding of security protocols, procedures, and relevant legislation
n
- Proficient in the use of security-related technology and systems
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
