About the Role

n

Based at our Perth (or Brisbane) office,we are currently seeking suitably qualified and energetic Senior I&C; Engineers to join the team.

n

Ideally you will have minimum of 8+ years' experiencein Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineering in the Gas and Energy Construction sector, including experience on facilities construction projects, major EPC projects and/or Infrastructure projects. Previous experience in the Australian project environment is required.

n

To be successful, you will preferably have experience with elements of the following in the Australian onshore oil and gas infrastructure project environment:

n

- Perform engineering calculations,
n
- Preparation of technical documentation including scopes of work, equipment specifications, and datasheets,
n
- Engineering input and checking of design deliverables (documents and drawings),
n
- Familiarity with the relevant Australian and International Standards,
n
- Provide technical engineering support.
n
- Attend internal and external project meetings as required to support project management and discipline lead,
n
- Procurement and package engineering, including technical bid evaluations,
n
- Material take off and procurement of construction materials,
n
- Preparation, submission and evaluation of tender packages of key equipment,
n
- Assist in updating update progress percentage, forecast manhours and forecast completion dates for all deliverables,
n
- Vendor package management and expediting.

Essential Qualities and Background

n

n




- Degree qualified engineer with 8+ years' post graduate experience in an aligned industry, preferably oil and gas or power construction projects,
n
- Strong computer literacy skills with advanced knowledge of MS applications,
n
- Ability to work efficiently, effectively and to hard deadlines,
n
- Willingness to work on a range of projects as workload dictates,
n
- Adaptability to be able to work directly from client's offices representing Enscope when needed,
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal & external stakeholders,
n
- Availability to travel interstate and to sites when needed (rosters are negotiated on a case by case basis).
