We are seeking afull-time, permanent Logistics Managerto join our team, based at our head office inMoorabbin Airport.

n

Hours are currently flexible, with a typical7:30am start and 4:00pm finish.

n

About the role

n

This role plays a key part in coordinating the movement of customer orders from order receipt through to warehouse dispatch and delivery.

n

Working closely with the Sales and Warehouse teams, the Logistics Manager will oversee order flow, freight, stock movements, international shipments and various customer and operational requirements.

n

This is a hands-on administration role suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive and enjoys working in a busy wholesale environment.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Coordinate the full sales order cycle, including order processing, outstanding quotes and back orders.
n
- Prepare daily picking slips based on customer delivery requirements and stock availability.
n
- Coordinate the flow and prioritisation of orders through the warehouse.
n
- Arrange and coordinate domestic freight, including larger and specialised deliveries.
n
- Obtain freight quotes and manage relationships with freight providers.
n
- Liaise with major customers regarding stock availability and outstanding deliveries.
n




- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses and virtual warehouses.
n
- Coordinate inbound shipments from international suppliers through to warehouse receipt.
n
- Prepare and maintain shipping, import and other relevant documentation.
n
- Manage customer-specific requirements, including QA, labelling and packaging requirements.
n
- Prepare reports for Sales Representatives, including outstanding quotes and back orders.
n
- Key purchase orders from international suppliers and maintain accurate system records.
n
- Support showroom launches, product labelling and other operational requirements.
n
- Coordinate logistics, freight and equipment requirements for Trade Fairs.
n
- Provide general office and operational support as required.

Ideal Background

n

n
- Experience as a Logistics Manager or Supply Chain Manager.
n
- Experience withinwholesale, retail, homewares, furniture, consumer goods or a related industryis highly desirable.
n
- Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, freight and distribution.
n
- Experience managing domestic and/or international freight and containerised imports.
n
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-driven wholesale environment.
n
- Good computer and systems skills, with experience using ERP or inventory systems an advantage.
n
