We arenow seeking customer service-focused and luxury-mindedAssistantBanquet Managerto join and help lead our Banquet Operations team.

n

This opportunity is a Parental Leave cover on a 12-month fixed term contract, with ongoing employment opportunities available for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

n

As AssistantBanquet Manager, you support the Banquet Services Manager in overseeingall aspect of the operation, embusing our conference and events guests are providedwith superior service and ultimately a seamless and luxury guest experience.

n

Yourresponsibilities also include:

n

- You willexceed our guests' expectations by providing warm, authentic and timely serviceand providing high level banqueting knowledge to elevate the guest experience.
n




- Communicateeffectively to the team to deliver market leading events, with bespoke serviceand quality product.
n
- Manages and assumes overallresponsibility for all Banqueting and Event functions throughout the Hotel.
n
- To ensurethat every guest is served in a timely and efficient manner that adheres to thepre-set standards of Banqueting and the Standards of Procedure established byThe Langham, Gold Coast.
n
- Lead byexample by being present in operations throughout service periods, peak timesand VIP Events.
n
- Work withour external AV Operators to enhance the guest experiences and build revenueopportunities and guest experiences that lead the market.
n
- AssistBanquet Service Manager to maintain an up-to-date version of Safe OperatingProcedures for the department, ensuring to comply with the highest standards ofcustomer service at all times.

What You'll Bring

n

To besuccessful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar roleand a strong background in banquet operations and leading a team.

n

- Passionfor service excellence and providing superior hospitality;
n
- Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills;
n
- Strongleadership and team management abilities, with a passion for developing andmotivating staff;
n
- Tertiaryqualifications in Hotel/Hospitality/Business or similar advantageous;
n
- ResponsibleService of Alcohol required;
n
