MINING ENGINEER | BUILD YOUR FUTURE AT KARARA Karara Iron Ore Mine | 8/6 FIFO from Perth | Permanent Full-Time Make Your Mark on a Major WA Mining Operation n

Following NRW Civil & Mining's recent $960 million contract extension through to February 2032, we are seeking a Mining Engineer to join our established team at the Karara Iron Ore Mine.

Karara is a major open-pit magnetite operation in Western Australia's Mid West. With an approximately 45-minute flight from Perth, a family-friendly 8/6 roster and an established NRW project workforce of approximately 250 people, Karara offers the scale, stability and opportunity to take your career further.

WHERE YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT n

- Deliver safe and optimised short-term mine plans and schedules
n
- Partner with operational teams to achieve production targets
n
- Support drill and blast and load and haul activities
n
- Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
n
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting and cost control
n
- Provide practical technical support across the operation
n

WHAT YOU'LL BRING n

We are looking for a practical, production-focused Mining Engineer who enjoys working closely with operational teams.

n
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
n




- Minimum two years' operational mining experience
n
- Experience in mine planning, scheduling and production support
n
- Exposure to drill and blast and load and haul operations
n
- Experience across hard-rock, coal or underground operations
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Experience with Surpac or Deswik highly regarded
n

This position is FIFO from Perth. Applicants must currently reside in Perth or be prepared to relocate to Perth independently before commencing.
