Job Description

We’re supporting a well-established organisation in their search for a Health, Safety & Compliance Manager to join their Property Services team.
n
This is a fantastic prospect for an experienced health, safety, and compliance professional to take ownership of compliance programmes across a diverse property portfolio. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring statutory compliance, managing contractor performance, developing compliance strategies, and driving a positive safety culture across the organisation.
Core Duties: n
n
- Leading health, safety, and property compliance activities across the organisation
n
- Managing servicing and inspection programmes covering gas, electrical, water, asbestos, fire safety, lifting equipment, and related compliance areas
n
- Acting as the lead for building safety management and maintaining compliance records and audit trails
n
- Managing compliance contracts, service providers, and contractor performance
n
- Producing and presenting compliance KPI reports, performance data, and improvement plans
n
- Overseeing compliance systems to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
n
- Supporting audits, inspections, risk management activities, and policy development
n
- Managing compliance budgets and ensuring value for money across all compliance functions
n
- Leading and developing compliance team members while supporting wider organisational objectives
n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, compliance, and customer outcomes
n
About You: nn
- Experience in a health & safety, compliance, property compliance, or facilities-related management role
n
- Strong understanding of compliance management within a regulated environment
n
- Experience managing contractor relationships, servicing programmes, and performance frameworks
n
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice
n
- Experience producing KPI reports and using data to drive improvements
n
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
n
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
n
- A recognised health & safety qualification or equivalent practical experience
n
- Experience within property, housing, facilities management, or asset management environments would be advantageous
n
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or management qualifications would be beneficial
n
n
Salary: £50000 – £55000/annum
n
