About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Afterhours Receptionist with excellent communication, time management skills and attention to detail to work at our main reception desk at Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital.

We are offering approximately 3 – 15 hours on a flexible roster with the option of covering sick and annual leave.
Shifts involved are Weekdays 16.30pm -19.30pm / Weekends 09.00am – 14.00pm

Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital is a private, 64 bed Rehabilitation hospital which prides itself on a high standard of patient care. Located in Hove, near Brighton/Glenelg, we offer both in-patient and day patient therapy.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing quality patient and customer service
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Admitting and discharging after hours patients
- Directing patients, visitors and contractors to designated locations
- Typing doctor discharge summaries and medication profiles
- Filing and sorting medical records
- Receptionist experience preferred
- Effective communication and organisational skills




- Ability to work individually and as a team member
- Experience with computerised patient management system and data entry beneficial
- Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
