About the Role

Working within our Public Health team, you will assist indelivering a range of environmental health programs andcompliance activities, including:

- Food safety, public health and environmentalcompliance
- On-site effluent disposal and water qualitymonitoring
- Infectious disease and nuisance investigations
- Assessing development and building applications
- Conducting inspections, risk assessments and fieldmonitoring
- Providing advice and support to residents, businesses andstakeholders
- Contributing to public health projects and communityeducation initiatives

About you

We’re seeking a motivated and community-focused EnvironmentalHealth Officer with a focus on public health,



customer serviceand practical problem-solving to guide and inspire positivehealth outcomes across our community.

You will have:

- A qualification in Environmental Health (completed ornearing completion)
- Strong communication and customer serviceskills
- Sound organisational and problem-solvingabilities
- The ability to work both independently and as part of ateam

Local Government experience is not essential. Mentoring andsupport will be provided, making this an excellent opportunityto develop your professional career.

Salary and Benefits: As per the City of CockburnIndustrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications andexperience.
