Job Description

Prepare and serve nutritious and attractive meals to residents
n Work with the Cook to ensure meals are plated and presented attractively
n Understand and respect residents' preferences and serve food and beverages accordingly
n Serve and distribute morning and afternoon teas
n Assist the Cook with ordering and rotating food stocks
n Clean dishes after each meal and maintain high cleanliness standards
n Deliver excellent customer service to residents and their families
n Report directly to the Chef Manager

Requirements

n

n
- Current National Police Check
n
- Prior experience in a similar role within Aged Care is essential
n
- Readiness and willingness to learn new skills
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and take initiative
n
- Ability to work as part of a team in a proactive support role to the cook
n
- Excellent hygiene standards
n
- Knowledge of Food Safety Standards
n
- Valid national police check and pre-employment medical assessment required
n
- Must work in a smoke-free workplace
n
